Determined the multiple-species economic injury levels in rice and jute for precision pest management
Determined thermal constant and development threshold of pink borer, Sesamia inferens Walker in rice and Bihar hairy caterpillar, Spilosoma obliqua Walker in jute.
Developed and validated a simulation model for assessment of impacts of climate change on pink stem borer, Sesamia inferens and rice.
Screened new insecticidal molecules against Bihar hairy caterpillar, Spilosoma obliqua and yellow mite, Polyphagonemus latus in jute
Joint toxicity of some new insecticides, botanicals with Bacillus thuringiensis has been standardized against S. obliqua
Screened various entomopathogenic fungi against sucking pests i.e. aphids, thrips
Host plant influence of six bast fibre crops on biology and life table parameters of jute hairy caterpillar and yellow mite has been studied
Contracted life table and fecundity tables for Bihar hairy caterpillar, Spilosoma obliqua Walker in jute
Four new parasitoids, two new insect pests get identified and documented from jute and allied fibres ecosystem through weekly survey and surveillance programme under All India Network Project on Jute and Allied Fibres
