Brief Achievements
Developed conservation strategies by planting flowering crops in the vineyards to conserve and augment the population of native parasitoids for biological control of grapevine mealybug
Studied the kairomonal role of mealybug honeydew in the attraction of native parasitoid, Anagyrus dactylopii
Studied the biocontrol potential and recovery of Chrysoperla zastrowi zillemi for the management of grapevine mealybug and mites under field conditions
Empowered grape farmers regarding the insect pest management in grapes by various means like transfer of technology through regional ‘Charchasatras’ and web advisory for weather forecast for grape insect pests management
